Do you think it's important to address your concerns? Or it's better to ignore them

In my personal experience if I don't address them I feel anxious and bad, once I address them even if they outcome is bad I can find closure. And continue with my life.
I address things because I want the truth

@BrokenAbyss it'll always be better than something fake

If its someone I feel I can address with and get a straight answer, I will.
Otherwise, I have to reconcile with it on my own and move on.
SW-User
@SW-User Yep, lol. You're not getting any kind of closure there, but you might get gaslighted and wound in their trail of confusions.
For me, I have realised that moving on is coming from me, within, and has nothing to do with the other party - and I can choose to learn from the experience and move on.

@SW-User yes but exactly from the gaslight and the confusion of their behavior is that I end up having my answers to continue with my life... 💚 Even if it's tough it helps me to understand.
SW-User
@SW-User It has for me too, in the past. I just prefer to skip that step now, for my own sake.

I just haphazardly throw them over my shoulder. Someone will pick it up in order to return it. Demonstrating that they want to be responsible for it's proper delivery. So it is their concern now.

@PoeticPlay I like doing that when possible

You wanna get rid of 95% of your problems?
Get rid of 80% of the people around you.

@PoeticPlay I've done that for years! I can live without the SOCIAL Rhelm without issue. Most people, beyond those always about me, are stupid sheep barely daily capable of holding their place in a 1st World Country!
It's not their fault, they try and don't fuck up too badly!

It depends...I pick my battles

I think it might be better to hold them back sometimes but if I do I get no inner peace as you said.. so I’m eventually forced to along the way.. bottling things up for too long just feels impossible..
SW-User
I feel the same way but sometimes in certain incidents I’ll still wonder if I did the right thing . But after a few days or a week I’ll just move on 😊

I've been withholding speaking up all my life and it manifested in stomach issues, thyroid problems, anger issues.
So, definitely speak up and address issues.
Yes, generally I need to address them or I'll keep thinking about it for years.

Address them. No need to have it festering then it grows into something else.

Perfect
I definitely will try this!

I might become less anxious and procrastinate Less!

Better to get closure and deal with things
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
Definitely better to address then. Especially when it comes to someone because then you will know either way.
SW-User
@iamonfire696 I agree, better to do it and know the result than never knowing it.

@SW-User exactly

Making that decision today and figuring I have nothing to lose.
