Did you ever have a friend, spouse or parent gaslight you ?

Multiple or inumerous times?

You begin to self doubt everything you do or say. Anyone ever heal from severe self doubt from a narcissist?

When I was 18 I had a brand new car, an apartment, was in college and I was working. The guy I dated at the time who I went to prom with took my car while I was asleep. He was gone all day not answering the phone, no calls, I'm late for work, I'm worrying etc..he comes back had been drinking says he's depressed, I bust him over the head with a vase and kicked him out my apartment. As he's leaving he says this is your fault because you never help me when I'm depressed lol you are the reason I'm like this 😂 he never mentioned anything about depression before that day not even once smh when that didn't work he said that his mom was dying. I guess him stealing my car was supposed to save her 😂😂😂😂😂

@AngelUnforgiven Oh wow that's quite an experience... shifting blame to another,(you). Sorry Angel🌹 I'm sorry too about his mom but drinking and taking someone car is not the solution. 🤔
My mom used to say, "If you had yada yada, I wouldn't have to be upset at you" That line is in a few self help books I've read, a classic shifting their action, onto you, so they are exempt from anything.

@Coralmist his mom wasn't sick. So I cut ties with him And years later in 2019 I was reading the news and I saw his picture in the paper he killed his 4 year old he was drinking and driving the baby wasn't in a seatbelt and they were hit by another drunk driver. They article said that they were both intoxicated smh and it said his bond was $2000 smh he was just responsible for this baby's death as the guy that hit them and his bond was $2000 I was so disgusted.
