Crazy lady: “Hey where’d you get that pita?”
Me: “at the pita place right down the road”
Lady: “I’ll buy it off ya”
Me: “no thanks… the place is right down the road if you want one”
Lady (in annoyed voice): “I’m offering money for yours”
Me: “ I understand that, I just exchanged money for it and now I would like to eat it. Exchanging it out for money would be a step backwards for me”
Lady: “you don’t make any sense”
Me: “ok”… *pretends I don’t see or hear her anymore*
Lady: “I’ll buy it off ya”
