Have you ever tried to commit suicide?

Once years ago I tried but got scared last second and stopped my car from hitting the wall I was going to drive into. This was I think 2012/2013?

I've been considering doing it again. I've been resiting a strong urge to walk into traffic for the past few days. I'm super unhappy and struggling like crazy.

I have had several instances where I came close to ending my life.
Driving down a freeway at 100 kph I was seconds away from driving into an overpass pylon.
I stood on a chair with a rope around my neck for more than 30 minutes. Lacked the courage to step off the chair.
For years I was in a really dark place until I sought help from professionals.
