I awoke this morning to a flat battery in my MG SUV

Apparently when the battery goes fully flat then every thing shuts down.
Key fob would not work so I could not unlock it even.
I have a jump starter in the vehicle but even if I could have gotten access to it, it would not have worked.
The whole system needed to be reset by a technician.
Why oh why do companies make their products non user friendly?
RAC were called, time taken to reset to usable mode 25 minutes.

@UnderLockDown Indeed it has. I hate it when in order to access a website, I have to give information to some robot to send me a code to fill in before I can get into the site. I know it's a safety feature, but GEEEEZZZZ.

@Repete There are so many people in positions of influence making ridiculous decisions and all we can do is cop it.
Anyway, I will send an email to MG letting them know of the stupidity of this particular issue.

On many makes, there's a key inside the fob. Did you look for that?

@PhoenixPhail Yes to that. Where to put the key? It was behind a cover next to the handle. Who knew? Not me. Still, the battery was flat and the electronics needed resetting.

Ouch.. The Chinese aspect of the car concerned me when you bought it.. But all this is still under warranty. Its just the inconvenience,,,😷
