I have that problem. However, I have come up with a solution.

Let your battery run down when you know you will be having free time later in the day. Get yourself the absolute shortest possible charging cable and set a personal goal to only use the charger in a room that is extremely inconvenient for you to use the phone when needing charged.

It takes quite a while to relinquish the addiction of your phone and your life. Once you do, it is liberating.

Addiction? Understimulation?
I have a problem to stay focused on a tutorial if they start doing things I already know how to do or ramble about something uninteresting for too long and I automatically zone out and jump off the tab on SW or any other social media site.

Sometimes I do that even picking a show… like I can’t just be content with a choice.

I think I may have adhd haha

But I also have crazy anxiety at times

Is the phone a source of comfort maybe? Or is it more about stimulation?

Not really, but a lack of focus and aimlessly scrolling sound familiar 😅

I do that too but maybe its that need to do something else at the same time, kinda like multitasking

Usually I'll be doing that while Im at work. Random distraction available.

I do this a tinny bit. But its kinda like when u get a phone u wana play with it. And over time ur internal psyche says play with the phone as if it's called out to u. So u pick it up and do so. They only way it would help u cut down on this is if ur phone broke or the battery died and u had no way to charge it.
