Would you think you go to hell if you commit suicide

The better question would be, how can I make my life better, without taking such drastic measures? Drastic measures means desperate decisions and this is when a person is not thinking straight. Problems are only temporary. We'lll have plenty of time in eternity. No use rushing it. Instead think of all the things you can do to change your life and if you sit down with a piece of paper and pencil I know you could make a list on how you could make your life count. And that is done by not getting so caught up in ourselves but the joy it brings in helping others and making friends. God would tell you that suicide is never the answer. And it's not necessary because God is there to guide you and help you all the way if you will trust him. God is in the miracle business and he wants to help you. Suicide is not a decision we have to take or need to take. Our cup is just whole and we need to get away and relax and not think of anything but just chill and it's a good time for prayer and getting closer to God. God can change anything in your life so we must not limit him or underestimate him. He loves you with all his heart and he wants to make your life better but you also have to help yourself and take responsibility for certain things. Things to get better when you trust the Lord. 🤗😚❤

About 12 years ago my youngest son committed suicide. No one knows why. We were devastated. He was a Christian. He was about to be baptized. How could this happen. The next day I was so completely shaken I couldn't get out of bed. Then I saw two figures coming to me. One was a cloud of sparkling dust and the other was a person wrapped in grave clothes. I noticed that there was a light coming out through the grave clothes. Then the sparkly dust spoke to me in the voice of my son. "Dad you really have to learn to trust Him and indicated the person in the grave clothes. I then realized what the vision meant. The sparkly dust was my son in his grave clothes. His badly decomposed body was cremated. The Person in the glowing clothes was Jesus. In that instant my fears and distress were lifted. Suicide is not a sin that can not be forgiven.
That's something you don't want to risk. Your own soul. It's not worth it. Your soul is too precious to toss away as if it's nothing. We are meant to live and figure things out and move forward. You don't know what value your life will be in the future. A number of things, you could make a big difference in someone's life. Instead of things I don't have, I'm not worried about those things. I'm just grateful for the things God has given me and I'm not about to waste my life worrying everyday. Life is too precious to waste.
Hell is an imaginary place and so is heaven. Also if there's a God that is actually fair he or she would be able to forgive people not make them suffer for whatever reason.
I dont think theres heaven and hell tbh its just for scaring peeps into doing positive things so no theyd die like a butterfly or lion

i don't think so. I know Catholicism preaches that as a grave matter - but when you think of the state of mind of someone committing suicide it hardly seems right to hold them strictly accountable.
You go nowhere and are probably aware of it too
Which may be worse
@riseofthemachine what if youre all those things
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
@PepsiColaP no ones all of those things - thats my point - thats what stops me from suicide -
The subtle thoughts are blind until you talk - do you get me 🤗🤗🤗

Well, since Hell is a made-up place…. Then no

No but I think your soul isn't magically free from torment.
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
@Starcrossed What hapoens if its tormented on earth
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@riseofthemachine I think some still have to work things out on the other side or in another life. I do think people would experience bodily pain relief
I think acts of compassion and ending onself when one has already peace or needing to escape terminal conditions there wouldn't be the same kind of tormented emotional energy going into death.
cyberdude28 · 31-35, M
I don't believe in hell
@cyberdude28 Satan does. And so do many others.
cyberdude28 · 31-35, M
@LadyGrace I don't give a sh*t. Satan or hell is not real. I'm tired of Christians and I won't apologize. Keep your religion to yourself and don't shove it down my throat.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
There is no hell or heaven just made up
Torsten · 36-40, M
I dont believe in hell, so no
It's not a surefire way to go to heaven.

I recommend that you do not hope for heaven or hell , just be good to yourself and others when you are alive.

If there is life after death you will get to the place you deserve.

Accept the reward as well as the punishment as they come.

Yes. This is why I'm still alive.

Most religions paint a dark consequence for suicide.
@riseofthemachine What do you mean now you're talking? Just because people don't believe in Hell or don't want to believe in hell, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It is very much a real place and the Bible describes it in detail. So don't be under the impression that there is no hell. That's just what Satan wants everyone to believe. It's nothing to risk your own soul over.

@LadyGrace let’s leave the bible for another discussion
@Jenny1234 I'll decide that. It couldn't be a more appropriate time to discuss this, when people all over this site are talking about killing themselves.

I don’t believe in hell. You go to the same place everyone else goes
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
@Mona86 thats my fear what you just said
Mona86 · C
@riseofthemachine so don’t commit suicide
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
@Mona86 im thinking of it i have 6 box of tablets in my room .
All of this pain life im going through im begin to resent god and blaming god .
I can't take no more of it .
Im after living my life of 41 than people would go through in a 100 lifetimes of pain and im not looking for the pity pot .
Everytime i pray i get attacked by people its going on 13 years .
They can't see it and im not a man for fighting back cause you go down rhe dark side then of life .
That thought has crossed my mind
@SlippingAway You really don't want to do that. Do you know where your final destination is? There's no changing your mind, once you cross over. And life really doesn't call for us to kill ourselves. Problems and challenges are not there to hurt us. They are to help us see that something isn't working for us in our life so we need to change it, and that's it. No need to do something drastic and permanent.
rrraksamam · 31-35, M
People who commit suicide become ghosts
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Lol, of course not. I don't believe in afterlife.

People who commit suicide are in enormous pain emotionally

I cannot conceive of a situation where it would be appropriate to meet that with more suffering
@SW-User Exactly. It doesn't make sense and it's just very cruel.
