It's not a matter of what we want, really. That has been set for us in heaven. Not one scripture confirms that we shall be reincarnated when we die. In fact, it speaks just the opposite. It says we are appointed only once to die.
Even if there were such a thing this reincarnation, I would never want that. Dying once, is plenty enough.

This is all we get.
“We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here.We privileged few, who won the lottery of birth against all odds, how dare we whine at our inevitable return to that prior state from which the vast majority have never stirred?”

Bruja · F
@JohnOlinger81 It will be 60 years from now, and you’ll time travel back to the 80s and do lots of Quaaludes and have a mansion

I feel like I have lived multiple lives throughout the ages.
And when my spirit leaves this body, it'll be on to the next.

Unless you’ve taken a covid shot or are a really boring person or an extremely evil individual recarnation is not a choice but a matter of time.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Greyjedi Must I spell it out? Suggesting I'm no longer going to be reincarnated because I took measures to prevent dying?
Greyjedi · M
@LordShadowfire Would you say it’s counterintuitive?

ONE is all I can handle

How do we know we haven't already ?🤷♀
Maybe we think we get one life, but the slate gets wiped clean every time.
So .... that could mean, perceptively - we get both 😏

I don't really care what happens after life. Anything is OK. well except getting flame grilled.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
It's not a question of whether I'd want to. We all do, whether we believe it or not.

@LordShadowfire Can we reincarnate into aliens from different planets, have we ever been other species in previous lives?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Peaceandnamaste Definitely.
