We do not hate Farblesnozz. We hate Farblesnozz worshippers, for they impede progress and make the world a worse place. If not for the worship of Farblesnozz, books would not burn. Knowledge would not be lost. Wars would not be fought. Innocent people would not die in Farblesnozz's name. We hate the very idea of Farblesnozz, because Farblesnozz teaches that thinking is a bad thing. Farblesnozz teaches that praying is all you need to do and someone else will solve your problems, instead of encouraging you to solve your problems yourself. Farblesnozz, as a concept, prevents us from growing or improving or reaching our full potential.
Farblesnozz is the desperate and pathetic lie we tell each other and ourselves to make us feel better about how horrible the world is and how horrible we are. We tell ourselves that Farblesnozz will love us no matter what, because we have done nothing to earn love. That when we die, Farblesnozz will give us paradise, because we did not make paradise in life.
We do not hate Farblesnozz. We hate that people would rather cower behind that fantasy than face up to reality and do what needs be done to have there be no need for a Farblesnozz. You see?

I am a devout atheist, not a bit of magic in me, but if I was hanging off the side of a building, I know I would be praying to Farblesnozz or whatever our magic wizard(s) in the sky name is to save me..
