@Nimbus The Marlon Brando movie “The Wild One” was on a movie channel this past week. It was made in 1953 and was based on something that really happened in California when a motorcycle club came to a small town that was hosting motorcycle races one week. They came in and showed theirselves to the town people acting up. Nothing too bad but other motorcycle clubs came in too. I had to stop watching it. It seemed so cheesy compared the motorcycle clubs and gangs that were in the 70’s-now. I don’t know how it ended. That movie was considered a classic and helped Brando’s career a lot.

@cherokeepatti All this is reminding me of the scene in the movie "A Bronx Tale" where the motorcycle gang made a big mistake, and got what they deserved. It was a catharsis for me, since I'd been bullied by people like they were.

@Nimbus It is a club that has rules, Nim. Being a heavy drinker and one who can handle it would also be a good requirement. For the record, my mom drove a Harley at age 14. She belonged to no gang. She was the only woman in her town who did so. She was cool long before cool was cool.

@Nimbus once a bikee invited me to a music festival and told me not to worry as he'd tell the other bikees i was his "lady" and they'd leave me alone. He said if he told them I was his tractor then they'd know it was a "free for all".
