Science has always existed, it's about that time that man discovered it. Call it what you will but science is a study of God's creation and how He's made it all work.
Science never existed (exception made of some isolated precedents) till about 400 years ago.

True that humans had curiosity on the way the Universe is with also the need to predict some critical phenomena and develope also critical practical know how on them.
The 2nd can be called the best technology they could, though only a pragmatic one.
The 1st, a collection of philosophical questions with a lot of speculative philosophical answers, mostly wrong ones at the light of what we now know better.
Was it Science? Not really.
Not because I say so.
But about four centuries ago there was a bold shift on the assumptions on the scope of research.
And a documented break with the previous worldviiew AND the authoities that held it.
As result of it, it began a new "something" that the scientific community and others call Science.
With never previously seen results.
What we know as Science and along time had other names.
Second Philosophy as not the same of what was called Firts Philosophy, mostly theology.
Natural Philosophy and also Natural History with Natural meaning what was not supernatural.
What scientist do is what was developed from those more recent views and practices.
And, besides their the personal faiths they may or not have, their scientific activity is not subordinated to the previous traditions. And shouldn´t.
By the way and I think you already know it, I share with you some believes.

That´s precisely why I agree with those "secular" scientists in researching it as materialy is and not as at best poeticaly is said it is.
And as facts show, scientists of various faiths or none reach convergent sucesively better explanations with no need to invoque said faiths.
While this, critics of Science, mostly outsiders and with a less than solid familiarity with scientific concepts and practice, insist in redefine it to obtain from that the validation of the word Science to what is not Science.

@ElRengo Science is about methodology and it’s completely neutral.
An example of everyday methodology is cake baking. Measure all the ingredients and bake at the indicated time and temperature, the results will be consistent. Deviate from the recipe and the cake is ruined. Any man or woman, any ethnicity, any age, will get the same results.
Religion is about belief without evidence.

God is the ultimate scientist look at his creations from nothing, and as Hawkins I believe said, nothing existed before the Big bang singularity / coinciding with God said let there be light.
I also believe there is a lot of misinterpretations of Hebrew words. I believe that the the Hebrew word y o m' should have been used as a period of time or a span of time instead of a literal 24-hour day. If one thinks about it God didn't create days years months weeks seasons until the 4th day when he created this sun and this Moon. Plus a thousand years to God is as a day and a day is as a thousand years.

There is confirmed by science the first 26 scriptures of the Bible. People have just refused to put it together always arguing against it instead of actually doing the study.
I believe that the Earth is an estimated 4.6 million years old; dinosaurs did roam the Earth millions of years ago, they are the beast mentioned in in Genesis 1:25-26.

Science is just observing. The closer you get, the more you see.
If it works, and you figure out how. That’s pretty much it. If you’re making something to accomplish something, and it does what you want it to do. Then it works. How clear is that ?
