I believe in it as a conduit for intuition and impulse. I think it clues us in to our higher self, and helps focus our thinking about issues and challenges in our lives.

As far as astrology is concerned, Mercury Retrograde is always depressingly reliable in terms of disruption - its almost comical once you start seeing it.

For context, I was an atheist who mocked this stuff for most of my life, but definitely a believer now.

@BlueSkyKing almost by definition, all experiential evidence is anecdotal, no?

I'm not claiming either astrology or tarot are science, or that either tool offers testable or repeatable results.

I'm claiming that they are *useful to me* in helping me think about challenges and issues in my life; helping me to be in tune with my own wants, desires, and worries, and to explore those thoughts and feelings. This is not a grand claim that requires debunking or proof - it is a subjective claim from a satisfied practitioner, who isn't trying to change any minds.
@jademonkey19 Always an excuse for not providing one link. Our solar system formed for the sole reason to program human personality? And commercially manufactured playing cards will help guide your life?

Did you fail your science courses? Science about the methodology. Which type of astrology? What pattern of cards? Every website is commercial, out to lighten wallets. For you, cut rate psychology. Based on randomness, not reality.

@BlueSkyKing 🫂 I've literally just said they're useful tools for helping me sort and consider my thoughts and feelings.

This is not much different from saying I like mint chocolate chip ice cream; reeeelax.

I don't believe in them. But I utilise them.
They help me to reflect upon things by seeing my reactions, my objections, the things that come up.
I use them as a tool for healing. I choose and I'm careful not to listen to them too much.

@being I’ve never known them to be wrong. I’ve found the information received from them is very spot on. The more knowledgeable that about yourself, the better your understanding of how the cards will play out.
The more you consult them it becomes more intuitive to you as a person and your environment.
It a tool like all other things in life.
@Briggett Which version of astrology? Like religion there are many and none mesh with each other. Tarots is a real card game that dates back centuries. Must be great to buy psychic abilities.

I'm scared of tarot and horoscopes I heard that you can experience evil from them things but these people put lies around about them things so who knows?
There may be something to it. I have friends who swear by it. But I've never taken stock in it.

I once walked into a psychic’s shop and she asked me what I was looking for. I promptly turned around and left. I knew she was a fraud.

No.

I never heard of an astrologer or tarot card reader becoming a billionaire.
Cute987 · 31-35, F
@Thinkerbell thats true
Eh a lot of scammers out there
Never trust a psychic or a sage that’s never won the lotto
Pick your nonsense. Zero evidence for all.
