The Lie: Science And God Don't Mix - The Truth: God Created Science For Our Benefit

Science will always point to God, that's the established Truth.
ALWAYS. Amen, brother. If it weren't for God, science wouldn't exist. Science doesn't have the processes to prove or disprove the existence of God. Science, studies and attempts to explain only the natural world, while God, is supernatural.

Sometimes logic over-rides proof.
Our intelligence was given to us (no, I have not proof, but it seems evident??). We use that intelligence to interpret our surroundings: 1/ for safety; 2/ for finding foods that don't harm us; 3/ to absorb the beauty in the world; and 4/ especially so we can appreciate other beings for their intentions and efforts.
None of these things is 'scientific'.
But: If you believe in a Creator then logically that intelligence was given to us by the Creator which infers that through the applicantion of our intelligence, we will 'discover' facts about our existence and those facts must relate back to the creation that put us here. So: Yes, science points to the Creator who, for most people, is "God."

@JollyRoger God or whatever you call this energy/entity, is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. God is science. It encompasses chemistry, biology, physics and metaphysics. We are made in the image of God. Image here doesn't mean physical but spiritual image. That is why some of the chemical components of the universe is found in our genes or DNA etc...God and human beings are very complexed to understand. You have to go through every science and understand well these sciences and their correlation to understand God and us.
JollyRoger · 70-79, M
@naoseen I certainly have no argument against what you say! Of course we're composed of the chemicals of the universe - God made it that way; and if you think about it, our mothers eat the food that is found on the earth so what they ingest is transferred into our bodies. ibid for the materials that make up our fathers' sperm. Notably: God made the Earth before He created man. I like your clarification that we are made in God's 'spiritual image.'

God did not create science. We created science which is our knowledge about reality that we deem as material. We created ourselves as human beings, and we created our world of matter in a space-time universe.
@sree251 I'm not blind. I don't see how anyone could not see God through his beautiful creations. They didn't just happen by chance. It doesn't take a genius to see them, even a small child can enjoy the beauty without attempting the need to evaluate it or make it complicated. We don't need scientific knowledge to enjoy it or it's beauty. Our spirit sees it as well and enjoys it.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace You are not blind. What if you were born blind and know neither light not darkness? Can you see God's beautiful creations then?

Once, I was at a Christian meeting at the YMCA for blind people. Some of them lost their sight through illness or physical trauma that cause the loss of sight. They still have memories of visual experience. One of them told me that he was born blind. I asked him, "do you mean to tell that you have no memories of sight and have always lived in a state of darkness?" He replied: "I don't know what is darkness. You see, I have never seen light."
@sree251 If we cannot see God with our heart and mind and spirit, then we are truly blind. Those who do not want to find God are blind to God and His light. But God's salvation is for all, even the blind and handicapped and they find peace in their Soul and Spirit because of God. Those who do not believe in God and His creation, nor His Word are truly blind. It takes faith, not sight, to find God.

Amazing grace,
How Sweet the Sound
That saved a Wretch like Me.
I once was lost
But now am found,
Twas spiritually blind,
But now I see.

Uh, science has never been said to point to God and any single scientist will explain to you how the more we learn about science, the less intervention by a God is needed.

Preach your truth, but stop spreading BS.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Graylight
I don't have to.
Which means you have nothing. The Truth remains that God lives and His Word is Truth. The burden of proof is on you.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@GodSpeed63 You are wrong. You've been told this 100 plus infinity times.

How powerful can your God be who dares not let you see behind the curtain or question his ways? Sad and small.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Graylight
You are wrong.
Prove it with real evidence and facts. If you can't, then God's Truth remains the truth.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Until science establishs that "truth" using science as a proof it is nothing more than heresay.. If you claim it is established using science, show me the working out..😷
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman
A compass points to magnetic north. Not "Not north" The basis of your claim is that god lives outside reality as we know it, then cant be judged by any standard we apply.
I don't make claims, Maskedman, I give testimonies to what is true.
Then you ask me to prove that realm doesnt exist, which is clearly a bait and switch. I have no fear for you being right.
If you have of me being right, then why are you trying so hard to tell me that I'm not right? BTW, this is about Truth and Lie, not who's right or wrong. I've given you every opportunity to support what you think and say is true and you've failed to do that. One day soon, you'll be faced with the Truth of God and you will not able to deny it anymore. Your own knees will bow and your own confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. For your own sake, I pray that you do it here and mean it, then you do it on that day when it's late to be saved.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63

"I don't claims, Maskedman, I give testimonies to what is true."
And my proof of the non existence of a god is that you werent not struck down for blasphemy right there. It almost saddens me to know that you will not get your day in court so to speak..A just god would have a field day with you..But just like the rest of us you will be all dressed up with no place to go..😷
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman
And my proof of the non existence of a god is that you werent not struck down for blasphemy right there.
He didn't strike you down for lying about Him. He's not like a man made god who is made in man's image as you suppose.
A just god would have a field day with you
What do you call a just god?
SDavis · 56-60, F
Indeed __ I've always said God gave us science and God himself is what can be called the **ultimate scientist**
SDavis · 56-60, F
@sree251 so you're saying that's all a scientists do is collect knowledge?

The Bible says **things which are seen are not made of things which appear**
.........What humans study and come to whatever form of analysis they may is what God gave them - because according to scripture what man thinks he knows he don't.

human scientists have found a way to create ( to create like God created)
https://youtu.be/NnivFz2rbM4

human scientists invent and this is not all (to invent the only difference is God invents from nothing / humans invent from what God invented) (by the way invent means to create or design)
https://youtu.be/jf0VIhZV_88

God gave man the ability to be scientist to study and analyze his creations - ------- guess what God has to have the knowledge to know how to create the visible universe ----------- God has to have the knowledge to create living beings ---------God has has to have the knowledge to know how to give of his spirit to man ----------

Ultimate = the most supreme /the most extreme/ the most important /

And in case you're one of those who say prove it, where is the evidence etc etc.
One knows that it can't be proven by man, so they'll go that route. Which will put me in the position to say prove the Bible wrong.

I go by my beliefs in what scripture says and indicates.
SDavis · 56-60, F
@whowasthatmaskedman ___ guess you're going by the science of man __ since from the homo erectus, to the Neanderthal, to the homo sapiens, and all humanoids in between - all came from Africa. And before you say anything the ancestor of the Neanderthal came from Africa and migrated North and continued in its evolutionary phase.

Taking note - you didn't even capitalize the b in Black - I would capitalize the W in White.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@SDavis I respect your earnest analysis but we need to examine it.

You said that "what man thinks he knows he don't". I agree. Scientists think they know, but what they know is what they examined with their senses. The conclusions they make are arbitrary assumptions.
sree251 · 41-45, M
Word-based universe. Therefore, reality is symbolic in nature and unreal. He Is saying that math and science point to figments of imagination.

Seems like he is shooting himself in the foot that he has put in his mouth.

You can write that a million times and it still wouldn't be true.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
The lie is that this is an established Truth.

You are hurting Christians who believe and understand that it is not knowing.

Why would you do that?

They weren’t TBN consumers.
Oh, look. Another dumbass video sharing somebody's opinion like it's fact. Get back to me when you've got proof.
@LordShadowfire You do realize he will never have it?
@CorvusBlackthorne Realize it? I'm counting on it.
@LordShadowfire OP practices his faith for the same reason you practice witchcraft.

It is visibly true BUT witchcraft is harmful.
