How does the creationist accept that a DNA test shows they're related to their father but reject that a DNA test shows they're related to a chimp? [Spirituality & Religion]

And i think it's a jump to say that DNA shows relatedness between humans but not between non-human animals, a jump that i have yet to see justified.

It's already justified. It's so simple.
A paternity test is literally just a dumbed down version of the genetic testing we use to compare human genetics to other animals.
If a DNA test can show who is the father by genetic relatedness then it can show relatedness between more distant relations.
Done and done.

I don't blame you, its difficult for atheists to read how we are sinners and the problem is us, not God, and to be told what to do by God, tough! Its hard to digest, harder than to say we have similar DNA like chimps so its PROOF of evolution.
