The NZ attack was done by a nazi. Nazism is an extremist ideology just like Islam

Nazi is far right. They say socialism but it is NOT socialism. Hitler hated Marxism and the left. Listen to his speeches. He blamed ALL Germanys problems on Marxism. Marxism is left ideology.

I believe they all were planned by the same people regardless of location...trying to invite fighting between Christians and Muslims in order to offer a solution “One world government”...

@cherokeepatti nice catch
Carazaa · F
@cherokeepatti possibly!

People have been committing murder, starting wars, and persecution, in the name of religion. All religions. Tomorrow evening, a man is going to be executed in Texas, for having participated in a racially motivated murder. The victim's daughter and sisters are calling on Texas to stop the execution, citing their Christian beliefs, but Texas, citing the same set of beliefs, insists that he must be put to death.
It's about the people, not the religion.

midnightsun · 26-30, M
There are people always who commit crimes in the name of religion.
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
@midnightsun who isn't? Christians are among the most persecuted people in the world, even before last week
midnightsun · 26-30, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP you missed my point
Carazaa · F
@midnightsun Those who hate Christians, those who mock Christians, and all those who are not loving towards me.
Gods standards are higher than the worlds standards.
If someone cuts me off in traffic and flips me off. I say sorry sir, I don't yell back.
If someone steals from me, I say its ok take it if you need it.
If someone uses me for something or lies to me, I will say its ok I love you anyway.

Well said/repeated.
The extreme elements of any religion generally lose sight of the teachings of the founder.
What you are also pointing out is that an appeal to live as the founder of one's religion/prime interpreter of your texts leads always to a very simple place in Christianity, a place of love and light, not hatred and darkness and violence.

Carazaa · F
@SomeMichGuyThat was my attempt but few understood that!
SomeMichGuy · M
@Carazaa I think that continuing to gently point this out makes a particular contrast with Islam.
BeefySenpie · M
As Christians we are to love our enemies. We would never retaliate
Replace would with should and you'd be right. No group of religious people (or any people for that matter) is perfect
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@KiwiBirdThank you. In your dumbness you just helped me make my point. HOW MANY CENTURIES AGO WAS THAT? I am talking about LAST MONTH!
BYW, do you believe people should be able to regain lands conquered by others? Like the Palestinians from the Jews, for example?
If yes then you should have sided with the Crusades. I will let you Google the answer as to why the same way you did the dates of the Crusades.

@KiwiBird Hahahah! NICE! Wy God what a pathetic weaselly retreat used by know-nothings like you drowning from being intellectually in over their heads!
What you obviously did NOT learn was the entire area the where the Crusades took place were originally CHRISTIAN so the Crusaders were simply liberating former Christian lands from invaders and feeing the large Christian minorities living there from persecution. Guess the youtube video you watched that made you an expert of the subject or the Wikipedia don't' mention that small fact.
It's also why you could not dare answer my question about the "Palestinians'. So as you sound like someone who probably does think "Palestine" should be returned to the "Palestinians" how about North Africa, Egypt, Syria and Turkey being returned to the Christian Crusaders?
And since you are so much my intellectual superior perhaps you can quick enlighten me as to when WITHIN THE PAST 100 YEARS a Christian entered a mosque and killed an Imam while reciting the Nicene Creed. And it's okay...you can Google "Nicene Creed", "mosque" and "Imam". I wont think you are any more ill-informed and just plain dumb than I already do!😘

Nah man. That's just a no true scotsman fallacy.
All that makes you a chrsitian is to follow the teachings and religion of jesus christ.
An individual may fall short in certain respects just as you do.
The fact that they may not be an ideal christian doesn't mean you get to exclude them from the group.

@Pikachu
No the no scotsman fallacy does not apply here.
I am using Jesus own definition of a Christian. I don't think you read my quote from Jesus. I am not changing the definition, Jesus said there is one standard and that is to be born again by the Holy Spirit, evident by being loving. That is specific. I am not changing the definition of a Christian.
No true Scotsman or appeal to purity is an informal fallacy in which one attempts to protect a universal generalization from counterexamples by changing the definition in an ad hoc fashion to exclude the counterexample. Rather than denying the counterexample or rejecting the original claim, this fallacy modifies the subject of the assertion to exclude the specific case or others like it by rhetoric, without reference to any specific objective rule ("no true Scotsman would do such a thing"; i.e., those who perform that action are not part of our group and thus criticism of that action is not criticism of the group).

@QueenPeach You're mocking but I love you anyway!
QueenPeach · 26-30, F
@Carazaa I love you too

SW-User
I’ll take not killing innocent people. Don’t even need to love em!
Carazaa · F
@SW-UserJesus calls us to pray for haters!
CopperCicada · M
My personal view is that a person who hates and harms beings is no member of any religion. Even if they claim so.
But then people tell me two things. It is religion that makes people kill, so I am giving those religions a pass.
And people tell me one needs to hate and harm people for one's faith. For God. And that love and pacifism is the antithesis of faith.

And I’m sure the majority of Muslims would say something similar about those who committed the Sri Lanka bombings, but that doesn’t eliminate the connection. No problem is going to be solved by just putting our fingers in our ears and chanting “not Christian” every time something like the New Zealand mosque shooting happens, because that ignores the hatred constantly spewed by and the incitements to violence from prominent people who claim they are Christians.
Axelerator · 31-35, M
Remember Christianity already retaliated a thousand years ago
Carazaa · F
@Axelerator Jesus teaches peace, and love, not hate.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
The Sri Lankan bombings were certainly not done in retaliation for the New Zealand bombing although certain groups might be using it as an excuse. The security forces are saying that the Sri Lankan bombings were something which took many months to plan . So to say it was in retaliation is absolute nonsense as they were planned many months before
Abrienda · 26-30, F
Christians are the most persecuted group in the world today. Just the many killed while in church at prayer...from Sri Lanka to Pakistan to France to the USA.
bijouxbroussard · F
There are plenty of people who consider themselves devout Christians who serve in the military, there are even military chaplains to counsel them, and always have been. I know retaliation isn’t among the teachings, but defense is. (Luke 22:36)
Carazaa · F
@bijouxbroussard Yes I would agree.
msros · F
I dont even know what Catholics in Sri Lanka had to do with a right wing supremacist. Sigh!
JBird · F
Since when did Christians started to classify Muslims as their enemies?
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
You're spending a lot of time arguing with atheist trolls, so let me give you a tip: don't bother
Carazaa · F
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEPYes you might be right.
