The Sri Lanka bombings were retaliation they say for the Muslim mosque attack in New Zealand. [Spirituality & Religion]

But the New Zealand attack was not done by a Christian, but a right wing radical hating Muslims they said today on the news.
As Christians we are to love our enemies. We would never retaliate. Remember Christians we are to show the love of God! We are different than the world. Are we showing the love of God to the world, and to Muslims?

"Love your enemies, and those who despitefully use you" Jesus says.

And I’m sure the majority of Muslims would say something similar about those who committed the Sri Lanka bombings, but that doesn’t eliminate the connection. No problem is going to be solved by just putting our fingers in our ears and chanting “not Christian” every time something like the New Zealand mosque shooting happens, because that ignores the hatred constantly spewed by and the incitements to violence from prominent people who claim they are Christians.

@OggggOIf Hitler or anyone else referred to himself as a Christian, they are lying! We can say that we are mathematicians or anything else but that does not make us so. We have to look at the true definition of a term and judge accordingly. I will absolutely confront and challenge anyone saying they are Christian. Because Jesus told us to.
