The Sri Lanka bombings were retaliation they say for the Muslim mosque attack in New Zealand. [Spirituality & Religion]

But the New Zealand attack was not done by a Christian, but a right wing radical hating Muslims they said today on the news.
As Christians we are to love our enemies. We would never retaliate. Remember Christians we are to show the love of God! We are different than the world. Are we showing the love of God to the world, and to Muslims?

"Love your enemies, and those who despitefully use you" Jesus says.

Christians are the most persecuted group in the world today. Just the many killed while in church at prayer...from Sri Lanka to Pakistan to France to the USA.

@Carazaa A PRIEST was murdered in his church in France...it gets no worse than that.

@Carazaa Not to my "pope" who really didn't seem to think it was as important as global warming and washed the feet of 8 Moslems for Easter three days later. What the "pope" forget is he is NOT Christ but (as we Catholics see it) Christ's REPRESENTATIVE and PROTECTOR (as we Catholics see it) of His church and of the the faith a regardless of denomination.

I was in Saudi at the time...the Moslem media was full of those photos. If the "pope" will abase himself that way after his own religious are murdered (according to Islamic ritual, btw) then the faith he is supposed to represent can't be taken seriously.

@Abrienda So true. I just mostly read my Bible frankly. Jesus warned in the Last days many will depart from the faith so sometimes I am discouraged by pastors and faith leaders.

@Carazaa Yes. I am a devout Catholic but now what is called a "sedevacantist" meaning we think the papal "chair is vacant" and refuse to accept the authority or authenticity of the pope. It is possible that 5 percent of Catholics are now sedevacantists and growing.

@AbriendaI am not a member of the Catholic church but catholic in it original meaning, a Christian!

@Carazaa Yes I knew that but again you have grasped the fundamental truth that all Christianity is Catholic/catholic as it was the first from which the other denomination sprang.
