Is it hard to be a modern, empowered woman who loves and follows the bible? [Spirituality & Religion]

The bible is [i]very[/i] clear about what a woman's place is in the hierarchy of the home and the church.

Is it difficult for a bible believing christian woman to reconcile the teachings of the bible with the modern notion that women should be equal to men in all things?

I like debating or discussing issues but its not my main reason being here.Plus it requires presenting info and that is a lot of work on an android phone also while finishing writing up all these letters.

And then too anxious because I have to think about my doctors appointment.

I was in the mood yesterday besides being stuck on pain meds.
Tonight Im not in the mood.
I stated that up top.
The other two understood.Why cant you?

Yesterday was good.Today is not.Simple as that.

Yeah, as a feminist atheist, that makes sense to me. In my world, I can justify equality simply because god isn't real, and because god isn't real, there's no reason for me not to be equal. Works like a circle, but I think if there's one thing religion is good at is staying relevant and the only way to do this is by bending the rules as time goes on. Now we have gay christians 'cause Christianity eventually is cool with everything that's hip.

It does not imply that women are of less worth! They just hold different positions from men. Men are commanded to care for and protect their wife, and to love them as they love themselves.

Yeah, a [i]submissive[/i] position. I'm fairly certain that being subservient rather precludes the possibility of being equal which would therefore be problematic to a modern woman who considers herself the equal of a man.
