Some departments are that way if they have lots of firefighters but we are on call and carry a pager 24/7@Rickg

@Rickg The fire service is as one instructor put it…”We’re like roofers, we cover everything!” His words are timeless for fire protection. And with all the things the fire service is faced with and deals with, TRAINING IS PARAMOUNT!! Stay safe brothers and sisters!

Most volunteer departments have a fairly basic set of requirements, but it’s based on that firefighters ability to perform, not about height and weight. We have male and female volunteers or different body types :) @iamelijah
