Men are physical and women are sensual, but should a man give a woman a black eye?

Male violence towards women is evidenced with varying degrees worldwide, and there are many statistics of men killing their wives/partners in both countries with a defined misogyny (Muslim) and in so called progressive post patriarchal societies. It is abhorrent wherever it takes place, don’t you think?
