Walk into a room full of strangers and stop trying to be interesting.
Ask someone a question you don’t already have an answer to.
Listen like you’re not waiting for your turn to speak.
Magic.

Hospital, where babies (new people) are generally born.

Best place to meet brand new people would be at the maternity ward 😁
I see another smart ass beat me to this revelation LOL

Get yourself a cute puppy and go to a dog park. Lots of ladies there and a common interest.
The same logic applies to Pickleball, Tennis, Squash, Bicycling, Motorcycles, Gang bangs.

College/University is the best way to meet people or take some small courses in things you enjoy.. cooking, fitness, martial arts etc
HumanEarth · F
Not if your in 60s or older then your like you don't belong there
Wallflow3r · 31-35, F
@HumanEarthYea School for someone that age would be awkward. In your 60's or older you can still join clubs and take courses you just gotta inquire about them. My tenant is an elderly woman age 77 and she is barely home during the day, she has groups and senior programs she goes too.

@Wallflow3r When I was in school (not long ago), we had an older guy (60+) .. everybody ignored him and we all felt like, yes, he didn't belong there.
It made zero sense for him to be in school at his age.

The bar on a night out, old school. You can't beat a face-to-face encounter. They see you and you chat. Nowhere to hide, you click or you don't.

Theres an app called "meet up" you should check out

If you want the quick fix, go to Vegas. But if you are looking for quality people to get to know it takes time. Take a class at your local CC, become a part time bar tender, Join a church , join a gym . Be good, be kind, and smile.
A bar.

@PoohSmasher Sure if you’re going alone you’ll look like a predator. So go with the crew.
@Saddam But having a crew means you already have friends. It shouldn't take friends to meet friends.
@PoohSmasher You’re making this more difficult than it needs to be.
Just go with your mates, drink to much and make some sketchy decisions. Wake up next to a girl.

Have you considered Meetup.com. You may have groups in your neighborhood with people that have common interests, whether it is sports, movies, books, hiking, trying out new restaurants, anything like that.

@Edishere Meetup is dead since covid.
