Conversations about how we are are diminishing

I always say Im ok but Im not.

Maybe the diminishing comes from so many of us being incredibly tired of having to endure so many things without replenishing our supply of the feel-goods within.

But I’m just okay today. Neither here or there. Just okay.

I have a ton of arthritis and both my shoulders feel like I have been lifting weights. Fingers sore.oh well just another day 😔

The real answers aren't given when the 'how are you?' question is thrown. Or if it is given, the recipient of the answer isn't really interested and does not care enough to hear more, much less to help.

It's more of a social obligation to start a greeting with "How are you?" A pity really.

I feel bad today, but it's overcast and rainy, which is comforting, so that's nice, at least.

Diminishing in what sense? Circumstances are changing. But different circumstances don't imply diminishment.

I'm feeling pretty good today - not diminished - even though I have some very trying health circumstances.
