I am sure you know that the Jewish religion traditionally began with the belief by a group of people formerly called Israelites accepting one god, a people led by Abraham.

@samueltyler2 So, many people with Israeli heritage practice judaism.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SinlessOnslaught yes, and today there really are many forms of Jewish practice, with the common belief in one god.

@samueltyler2 So how can anyone describe someone else as a "Jew"? I hear people say jews own the media, jews do this, jews do that, some movie was written by a jew... How do we come to the conclusion that someone is a jew? Do those people describe themselves as jews? I rarely hear it.

@SinlessOnslaught As I said in my own comment, context is key. People using the term to make BS claims about people of Jewish faith controlling everything? They're using it as a pejorative. But I've also heard Jewish people respond to a piece of local, regional, or even national news with the question, "And what does that mean for the Jews?"

@samueltyler2 Oh yeah I'm well aware of the man who wrote Mein Kampf and operated on the awful principle of realpolitik. I'm aware of how many people turned a blind eye to his actions and then later claimed to be a hero for stopping it FAR too late and mostly just for economic reasons.
Sorry for over-explaining, I'm a hothead lol. I hate when people are ignored.

@SinlessOnslaught are you watching the way some on the IS are attempting to dehumanize some of our population?
SinlessOnslaught · M
@samueltyler2 It's happening on a large scale from many groups.

@SinlessOnslaught more do from one group.
