I try staying nice to people for the reason @caPnAhab mentioned. Someone could be having a bad day & your kindness could change their attitude without them even noticing.. then they might pass that on to the next person. Just the same as rudeness can make them walk away & pass that to someone else too.

Spreading negativity doesn't help anybody or make anybody's day easier. Not even your own. That person you were rude to, might go home & yell at their wife. I'd rather be kind so people will be more likely to go home & give love

I always choose kindness to strangers I encounter if I'm approached or encounter them neutrally or better. If they engage with me negatively it's different but it's more natural and enjoyable for me to choose kindness. With all of that being said, if I hold the door long enough can we make out? 😂

Kindness is more genuine. I feel that nice is basically being agreeable and pleasing in a superficial way. Whereas, kindness is more about authenticity, mercy, grace and service. Kindness stems from empathy and understanding💛
