It's fear mongering & cognitive dissonance that makes a lot of the population think something bad is going to happen, and the sad part is that making everybody think something bad is going to happen can actually increase the chances of something terribly bad happening. Like everybody just accepts their fate which is what will allow it to happen. That's why you shouldn't pay attention to the mainstream. It's trying to poison your mind and the reality you shape for yourself in more ways than you can imagine. All these goddamn end of the world type shows & movies, politics, religion.. trying to make everybody think the end is near when the only thing that can really bring forth the end is if it's done intentionally.
