is suicide ever an answer?

just curious
It's a permanent answer to a temporary problem
there is only room for one cynical Debbie downer round here 🤘😏

like I said on here before sometimes the problems don't seem so temporary
No, it just leaves unfinished business, and what you don't fully learn in life, means your soul will again at some point inhabit another human body to start over again. We are souls having human experiences, not the other way around. The soul seeks all experiences to help its spiritual growth, leading to enlightenment and ultimate wisdom. When you purposely cut your life short with suicide, your soul does not rest in peace, but will need to continue its life lessons until they are mastered fully. Many people have endured horrible atrocities and tragedies, but didn't kill themselves. We have the ability to suffer greatly, but to use that suffering for our greater good.

Sure it is an answer. But is it ever the right answer? Who can say?
SW-User
I think that if a person is going to die horribly and they want to go a different way, that should be their right. I can't think of other times suicide makes more sense than sticking around, though.
I had a friend who was schizophrenic he battled depression and was very very down about the suicide of his mother who also had depression and personality disorder

He killed himself..... he had amazing long time friends that loved him and tried their best to be there during his dark times and celebrated his best times but it wasn't enough.

In his case, I feel like it was okay. I was devestated by his loss and still stop and think about him but I know he is in peace

If the question is "What's that word that means killing yourself again?" Then yes.

It's always an answer - it's just rarely if ever the best answer.
Sometimes it's the answer.

NO. It's a cowardly way to go.

whats the question?

joshuaco19 I do think it is the case is it the answer because it is not but people are driven to unhappiness and despair and have nowhere to turn and then become depressed where they find live is not worth living any longer

Final answer

If you've got a terminal disease, then sure.
SW-User
But that's the thing; with terminal diseases, the most likely outcome is death (hence them being considered terminal). Suicide in that situation would be simply dying on your own terms, instead of slowly succumbing to the disease. There will be pain either way.

@KiwiDan: Yes but if you choose to do it yourself you're basically saying "fuck off" to your family. They will carry that guilt even though it isn't theirs to carry.
SW-User
@RCGPruett: That's why you discuss it with them first. It would be stupid not to tell them at the very least, so that way they can say their goodbyes.
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
I don't think anyone who does that would be able to tell you. But from this side...NO.
Alex68 · 22-25, F
No, it's always better to find a different solution.
Depends. What is the question?
taintedprincess · 46-50, F
It is a solution
Thodsis · 51-55, M
Depends on the question.
