The fake deaf man - I still can't be sure but I'm pretty convinced my Dad faked deafness for sixteen years before the sudden and unexpected and unexplained "cure" in 1983. I want to watch him see that I know. He made me serve as his ears in phone calls from
The hospital where he worked. No child should have to say and hear what I did! Yes, I was always good to the fake deaf man.

No need. Give me the Dad or Mom look and I will tell you what I know.
(50 years ago my youngest brother, then 16, stole two nickel-plated revolvers from our father. Initially he denied any knowledge about the theft. After a week or so, the officers took him to the station, and hooked him up to what they said was a polygraph. They asked his name and he spilled his guts.) I don’t think it WAS a lie detector. Cities with population under 10k do not commonly have such tools.

Everyone
Most on here most definitely know who I have in mind. Pile on if you’re inclined to. Just one thing, I’m willing to bet there be wouldn’t the same question asked twice by anyone 😭
Idk really. I backspaced every answer I started to type bc I just kept realizing that I don't think their answers would do any good.

So called "lie detectors" are notoriously inaccurate. So much so that their results are not admissible in court (except by mutual agreement of both sides of the case). I see no reason to submit to inaccurate testing.

@CBarson Like, for the challenge? Because I can tell you, those things don't go off unless you are stressed out about your answers.

@LordShadowfire I would need the questioner to ask deep spiritual questions of me. I sometimes question my own inner truth

No need. The one person who matters one way or the other, I trust unequivocally.

ChatGPT apparently it lies 30% of the time.

If it has come to that, better part away from that person.

Trump - I want to see if he really deserves the top-level security clearance.

@alongalone That would be interesting. Do you think he was culpable in some way?
Saw him on tv the other day, he is really aging.

@Magenta hi yes he knows the truth. To me the ransom letter proves their guilt

@alongalone I also saw that the Boulder police had announced in mid-December 2025 that they have new evidence and conducted new interviews/re-interviews in the cold case. DNA technology and also working with the FBI, though they haven't revealed specifics of the new findings, but keeping the case a top priority.
DNA technology is a fascinating and useful tool!

No-one. I have no interest, plus I already know all humans lie one way or another.

I guess Richard Gere. Get to the bottom of that whole gerbil story.

nobody.. i can tell a liar without one
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Nobody. Because there is no such thing.
There's such a thing as a polygraph, but it only detects stress. A truly experienced liar can easily pass a polygraph administered by a professional tester.

@FreeLittleBird Wouldn't work. That would make the devil human to actually be hooked up to one. 😈
