Loneliness can kill a person your right in one way , that's if the mind is full of thoughts ,
What's happens when the mind is not full of thoughts , loneliness won't be there .
You might feel alone or lonely but never too the extreme of loneliness.
Loneliness is in the soul created by the thoughts of the mind , like self pity , regret , despair .
That's what loneliness is , it's crested by the thoughts .
What happens when loneliness comes in , the mind then looks to get out with temptations and when you act on temptation the loneliness gets worse .
It's ok to cry now and then .
It's ok to be bored now and then but what happens when your lonely the more people you around the more you get lonlier.
That's what creates the thoughts .
Most people are blind to it .
They keep bashing into walls time and time again wondering what's wrong with there life but if you go back a bit further in your life it's mainly the soul that's screaming out creating the thoughts
The simple answer is yes, it can. The right answer is it's not likely, especially at 26-30 years of age.

That's not to say that your quality of life isn't effected. Are you okay?
Sort of. There was a study that was a staple for psych classes, May still be. Infant mortality goes up if they are well cared for but don't get held. Similar groups do better when the only variable is someone picking them up regularly

Maybe can shorten life span or can drive one to unhealthy habits and suicide. I know babies who don't get held or touched, usually by their mother, die, and although that doesn't seem like loneliness, seems to have some commonality.

No. Well depends on if you’re a person of strong character. Some people seek it and are happy in their own space than with people.
twistedrope · 26-30, M
Yeah. It kills infants and does a lot of damage to teenagers. For adults less so but I wouldn't recommend it. The stress of loneliness imo makes one more susceptible to illness.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
As challenging as it is I would say not. There’s always someone in a worse position than you.

some people say healthy mind (as in not a lonely one), healthy body.
i dont know about that though, i have survived so far.

Yes. We were created by nature for each other and not for ourselves. The social system has divided all of us to care for ourselves which is against wishes of nature. So loneliness kills.
Absolutely. Loneliness can affect both the mental and physical functioning of the body.

Emotionally i guess?
Redbeard · 56-60, M
It depends. Like the song says, 'Owner of a lonely heart is much better than, owner of a broken heart'. Broken hearts kill much faster than lonely hearts.

I think so.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
No, but it can be very stressful, leading to poorer health and potentially shorter life.
Fertilization · 36-40, F
Depends on the person. Some love it, some are scared of it.
LadyInBlack · 18-21, F
Not this human over here.
I can always be alone, but never feel lonely.
Their state of mind will drive them to it. Sometimes they need to step outside their comfort zones and let others in

Believing that being by yourself is an insurmountable problem might lead to death.

Are you lonely or simply alone?
Beautyinbroken · 36-40, F
If im lucky yes
Reject · 26-30, M
Sure it can. Our body persists only because we do.
Yes, it can.

is it really loneliness that [kills] ...or comparison 🤔
It supposedly shortens your life span ..
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
Not so much kill the body but it can kill the soul
