Not only is it possible, it's highly effective and extremely hurtful
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@SW-User i agree..
I believe a lie of omission would fall under that category.

@Primnproper Just as an aside, I know that I’ve told you what a wonderful contributor you are, but not only because of the quantity of your questions but the quality. Been on Q&A sites a very long time and it’s tough for me to remember many people who consistently put out such excellent, thought provoking questions. You really make a difference here. 🙂

@OlderSometimesWiser awe...thank you thats so kind but I'm just a small ripple along with everyone else here that contributes..I'm sure you've seen me have my silly day questions..🤪🤗
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@OlderSometimesWiser My thought exactly.

Of course.
It's possible to lie in every which way you can conceive.
As long as you're witholding or distorting any information that has an impact on another, big or small, it is a lie.

@SW-User But if the person constantly lies, isn’t there truth 💁♂️

SW-User
@SW-User If the person consistently lies, it's still a lie. Lol. Even their truth gets distorted because they might be peppering it with some lie. 😂 Or maybe not. Who knows.
But no matter the frequency of their lies, each lie is still a lie.
