no honey in life without money
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Tanoos Money doesn’t always bring happiness though. Peace of mind yes but even money can’t buy happiness.
Tanoos · 41-45, F
@Primnproper without money how come peace in life. never...ever (this is my experience ) if we have peace of mind, happiness will come automatically. sure
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Tanoos everyone sees it differently and whats relatable to them. For me ive been at my happiest when ive been broke and i think people that have been without money appreciate the little things more and find their true happiness within.

Don’t knock it unless you’ve tried it.
Corollary: Don’t criticize or judge someone else without having been in their situation.

The world has its share of evil and hateful people.....but you can’t beat hate by hating.
Make sure that you don’t become one of the evil/hateful people, because the world doesn’t need more people like that.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@Primnproper Thanks for best comment.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@DragonFruit Great answer!👍
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
That life is much too short to be taken seriously. Enjoy the journey. We all know the destination..😷
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@whowasthatmaskedman Covid changed a lot for many people. All countries are still struggling in the aftermath.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Primnproper Quite so.. And as we age that lost time is something we cant get back..😷
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@whowasthatmaskedman Yes we see that more and more.

@Jeephikelove yes many are but we have to try and not let that turn us into something we really don’t want to be. My message box is always open if you need to vent my sweet.🤗
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Primnproper you are 100% right, thankfully I live my life giving people the benefit of the doubt and let them prove me wrong. It hurts more when I find out but zI’m resilient and bounce back pretty quickly after disappointment.
Thank you so much! 🤗🤗
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Jeephikelove I too have been burned a few times to mention but I will plod on with a smile.🙂
DaveE54 · 51-55, M
To not give into impulse
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@DaveE54 That’s a good one and one I’ve been guilty of in the past. Sometimes it’s good to just sit back and take a minute to think stuff through.
DaveE54 · 51-55, M
@Primnproper yes I have fallen more than once 🥺
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@DaveE54 and so have many of us. No point beating yourself up over it. Dust yourself off and be ready to take your time next time.
My biggest lesson, from my decades of experience, is that education is the best way to improve your life.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@ElwoodBlues Knowledge goes a long way in this life.
mainvane · 61-69, M
the things you save in a closet for 10+ years eventually get thrown out
InHeaven · F
@mainvane truth
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@mainvane yes they do.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Invest early and often. Poverty sucks!
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Musicman yes money can give peace of mind with regard to bills but that still doesn’t necessarily bring you happiness and contentment. So taking care of our well being too has to be high on the list.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Primnproper Absolutely! You are definitely right. All money is going to do is relieve some, not all, stress and give you more options for a better life.
newgirl · 56-60, F
To trust my instincts. I know what's best for me.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@newgirl Women have good instincts so i believe we should trust them more.
whiskeyinateacup · 31-35, F
Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe ... if you work really really really hard.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@whiskeyinateacup You left out the bit where you work for it....😷
whiskeyinateacup · 31-35, F
@whowasthatmaskedman

Better ? 😉
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@whiskeyinateacup thats ok if you can handle it, some may set a bar i.possiblw to reach then it affects their self worth in whether their good enough and can bring with it a hole of depression. So i agree with this within reason but keeping a level head.
So far this…
- Not everyone is going to like you and that’s okay.
- Life is fucking filled with challenges.
- Never force a shit. Just live. Do your best and always be kind.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@mindstruggle You sound like you have the key points there to navigate through life with.👍
RenFur · 70-79, M
That a good many of the whited sepulchers who warned of the evils of the flesh were the worst offenders of them all.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@RenFur very true.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
I've learned that I need very little and the things that matter are not material things.
@Justmeraeagain That is true.
I move through life lightly, carrying little baggage. But it is friendship that matters.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Justmeraeagain I agree with this. As long as I am at peace in my life and bills are paid everything else just coasts along.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Primnproper Yes.

I'm finding that I'd rather take a little trip ,when we can,somewhere new even if it's just for a day then get something that's just going to sit in a corner and look nice.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
Not to be opened as I use to be. Don't trust anyone during this ungrateful generation.
empanadas · 31-35, M
@FreestyleArt yeah our generation is fucked
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@FreestyleArt We all have experiences in life that we wish we hadn’t or ones that hurt but there’s no rainbows without rain. We need those lessons to grow.
Nanori · F
You won't get anywhere by being nice, you must bite and play it dirty like others do
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Nanori I don’t wholly agree with that. I admit when you play nice you can be let down or taken advantage of so you just have to be savvy and on guard. I prefer to play nice and leave the dirty players at the curb.
RenFur · 70-79, M
@Nanori

That's what conservatives believe. In a nutshell. I prefer this ( brother Ted on Bobby's passing) -

Pfuzylogic · M
Family can provide the most toxic relationships and forgiveness can be slow.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Pfuzylogic I totally agree with that and have learnt that lesson well.
LeftWingProgressive · 22-25, T
the lord and only lord can save me ,
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@LeftWingProgressive If that’s what works for you that’s fine. I learnt early on in my life only I could save myself in this life.
LeftWingProgressive · 22-25, T
@Primnproper well are you dis regarding the lord here , i am shocked and offended
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@LeftWingProgressive I mean no offence, not everyone is religious me included but I respect others who have their beliefs. I just personally prefer to have faith in myself.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
That title doesn't have to dictate behaviour, but it often does.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@MarkPaul Very true, something for everyone to learn.
Never trust anyone on social media
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@sunriselover i think where social media is concerned you have to go in eyes wide open and alert to the disingenuous people that are creeping around. There are a few jewels to be found. Ive made and met some good firm friends here.
InHeaven · F
Stay close to God (Jesus Christ)
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@InHeaven If that is what works and helps guide you then of course.
Assess, adapt, move on
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@sunriselover I must admit I run my life pretty much to that plan. When something doesn’t work I just move forward and never look back.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
Women you have relationships with are not to be trusted. Once an ex then always an ex.

Once something becomes a religion (covid, ev's, etc.) you can justify anything in it's name.

Ok so that's two lessons. 8-)
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@zonavar68 thanx for the 2 lessons. I too never believe in going backward or looking back. Exes are just that for a reason and often that reason doesn’t change.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
That we are each responsible for our own happiness. If I can't bring satisfaction to myself as a person, I can't expect others to do it for me. Just like I can't be the source of happiness in others.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@easterniowegin very important lessons to learn.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@LoneVoice Do you think its an accident which nation he is sprinkling most of them on??😷
@whowasthatmaskedman Nope. First thing I noticed.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@LoneVoice amusing for sure.
AbbeyRhode · F
Tomorrow is not promised, so cherish the people in your life that you care about each and every day.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@AbbeyRhode very true, tell them you love them and let them know how much they mean to you.
Houdini · 56-60, M
I can’t answer that but probably could have a few years ago lol you know what I mean lol 😂
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Houdini 😂 I gotcha!
Nayla · 51-55, F
Don’t trust people so easily
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Nayla It’s easy to let our guards fall too soon, we do have to learn to be more vigilant.
Nayla · 51-55, F
@Primnproper we do. I learned the hard way
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Nayla I’m sure most of us have at some point.
Don’t be lazy, separate your white clothes to your colored ones.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@BloviatingBuffoon oh definitely, greyish underwear sucks! 🤣
That most women .... well, nevermind. I've learned to 😑.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Auggie Never feel you can’t speak your opinion freely because you can always do that on my posts. I don’t bite. 🙂
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Don't eat the yellow snow.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@hunkalove 🤣🤣 No definitely don’t do that!
Oneofthestormboys · 100+, M
To never eat yellow snow.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Oneofthestormboys No definitely not! Lol
twistedrope · 26-30, M
Everyone is granted the freedom to decide their attitude towards any given situation. This freedom in inalienable and difficult to do but worth everything to utilize.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
Being nice all the time doesn’t get you anywhere. That goes for everything, I am not nice to everyone. I match their energy because I don’t deserve to make myself feel badly for just putting up with crap.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@iamonfire696 I would hope so.🤗
Fluffybull · F
@iamonfire696 Agree. Some people see "nice" as "weak" and will try and treat you like s**t.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Fluffybull You’re right about that!
Ontheroad · M
The only constant in life is change, embrace it. Be open, trust others, and be kind, but don't be a patsy.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
That love is a must but it´s rarely enough.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@ElRengo
But it makes a good substitute when we're fresh out of true friends.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
@swirlie
May be I wasn´t clear enough, my apologies.
Tried to say that the feeling of love is not enough to make love to be love.

Not a few of my close friends are there for me since decades.
Can´t say the same about partners and lovers.

Love is the best we have when we have it, anyhow.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@ElRengo
Very well stated! Thank you for that clarification!
That you have to be careful who you trust
Steve42 · 56-60, M
I would have studied harder in school.
Trust but always verify
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
Do not underestimate the power of thinking and doing positive or negative things
travelguy01 · 41-45, M
Life is what you make of it, just like your own opinions and feelings of things. Nobody can truly tell you how to live your life. But you can make that story up in your own head as an excuse not to do a particular thing that you really should be doing, because it may be "hard".
Everything is temporary. Bad times don’t last, but neither do good ones.
DDonde · 31-35, M
Make it work.
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
Accept the things you can't change and live in the now as much as possible.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@FeetAreFantastic An absolute must.👍
empanadas · 31-35, M
People come and go, don't get too attached until they show you otherwise.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@empanadas That’s very true, it can be disappointing.
swirlie · 31-35, F
I've learned to shut up and listen and stop pretending that I'm the smart one!
Hanginginthere · 31-35, M
life is hard
@Hanginginthere prefer challenging to hard.
