What does it mean if you accuse an sw person of possibly being a catfish and then they block you?

There are soooo many possible meanings, starting with the reason a lot of women accuse them in the first place. But I digress. 😌

I have two possible guesses:
(1) your accusation is correct
(2) your accusation is wrong

The worst catfish story I've ever heard this guy worked for a security company that I was a supervisor for and he kept always wanting to get an advance on his paycheck and it fill out the paperwork so we give it to him come to find out he was sending her close to 3,000 a month and he never so much as talk to her on the phone. We finally as his friends said listen if she truly loves you or anything you need something real you have sent her more than enough money that she could have bought a car and driven here. I left the company soon after that so I don't know what the eventual outcome was but we kept trying to convince him that she was a scam

I would take it as a yes. A normal response would be denial, and proof of ID offered in some way. Evasion indicates they have something to hide so go into full on lockdown mode

It could most likely mean one of two:

1) They are in fact a catfish
2) They don't want to waste time on some random stranger telling them they're a catfish

It's all about circumstances.

It seems you may be right, but you also may have made yourself a target for their alternate accounts to harass, depending how sad this person is.

I’ve never seen you arbitrarily accuse someone of that, so you were probably right.

I blocked a new person who was messaging me and had never spoken to me in the public areas. They called me a catfish because only my friends can see personal photos.

It means they have one less to fool
