I live higher up from where that burned and it was a bad scene. It was burning uphill and the fear it was going to crest and start hitting a lot of homes was real. Lived in thick drift smoke for quite a while. It was terrible. A lot of anger towards those people. The TOTAL lack of respect I see from some around fire in the forest is just mind blowing to me. I've unloaded on people and they look at me like I'm crazy. So many who live in cities are entirely clueless when it comes to fire and forests. I truly can't understand the thinking. One spark and it can be all over.
