@IM5688 that's a false equivalence. The military regards certain trans people as being fit for military service. They are healthy and intelligent and are clearly NOT mentally ill or they wouldn't be allowed to serve in the military! You're saying those people should be denied an honest, important career, just because YOU don't agree with their lifestyle choices. I imagine you'd deny gay people that chance too, if you had your own way. What does it matter, so long as they are competent to do the job and have the intelligence to carry out their duties. Your objection is wholly unreasonable.

@akindheart Like I stated, they may have changed it, but it used to be 4 active and 2 reserve. Of course, the way the world is going, it might be 6 active now.

@IM5688 i don't think she thought it through. she said she wanted to serve her country but she found a man in the AF and they got married. now she is being deployed
