Did you ever know a person who was 'fine' when you last saw them. but was dead the next time you heard about them ?

I knew a girl who fell backwards and died from head injury .
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
Yes my neighbour. Died either Sunday or Monday just gone. Last time I saw him was a few days before. His mate knocked on my door Monday morning just after I got back home from dropping my daughter at school and wanted me help as he thought his mate (my neighbour) was dead. He was. called police and helped them with info as I was a neighbour to my neighbour for the 5 yrs I've been renting next door.

Still feels very wierd.

His siblings are next door right now doing some cleaning up and removal of stuff. Just chatted to them to see how they're doing and offered my help if they need it.

It's the only time so far in my life I've actually seen a person dead and it's a strange thing.

Had a friend from Bulgaria that a group of us would meet up at a restaurant and talk when we all could get together. Then one day she died at her desk while paying bills. She was supposed to meet her husband at a restaurant after he got off work and he went home to check on her and found her 😭

I was working on a fast path project, and I was in a power plant with an engineer late Friday night. We agreed on our actions that we'd have ready Monday morning, and he died that weekend.

Yeah, a guy I worked with for many years. I would pass him in the hall and talk to him in the break room. Found out he died on Easter. Just died in his sleep. He was about 63 years old.

Yes, I've known several people who died suddenly and unexpectedly. Always shocking when this happens.
sree251 · 41-45, M
My car mechanic, a black guy in his 30's never came back from the hospital. He complained about a minor problem and went to the ER. He told me that he was vaccinated for Covid a couple of weeks earlier when I saw him.
LandOfOz · 61-69, M
@sree251 both of my neighbours elderly mums died after fake jabs. Within 2months of each other
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LandOfOz Did you get any jabs. I did not. I came back from abroad in Dec 2019 just before the Covid mess surfaced. I self-isolated. God knows what those damn vaccines do. Apparently, the Covid bug is a bio-weapon developed by the US released in Wuhan targeting the Chinese. Ordinarily, I would not believe this sort of bs but what was Fauci doing in that Wuhan lab with US funding?
LandOfOz · 61-69, M
@sree251 no way , I refused any jabs . I went by my gut feeling something wasnt right. And I never got covid
This just happened to a girl I knew earlier this year. Such a sad, sudden tragedy.

Well yes. Alcoholics never know when their time is up. They overestimate

Yes, one this week.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
I’ve known a number of people who died suddenly, but I wouldn’t describe them as fine last I heard about them. In someways, the subtleties of what wasn’t working out turned out to be almost a foreshadowing of the abrupt event.
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Yes - my late fiancé ☹️☹️
LandOfOz · 61-69, M
I never believe anyone to be fine 100%
LandOfOz · 61-69, M
@sree251 im not depressed .in my case sertraline works very well for OCD
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LandOfOz OCD? That's interesting. Is it similar to what his guy in the video below is suffering?

LandOfOz · 61-69, M
@sree251 avoiding cracks in the pavement is one sign of OCD but not everyone has that. the best movie that shows OCD really well is The Aviator.

Yes, a very good friend drowned a decade and a half ago. Had gone to a concert with him a few weeks before he died and that was the last I saw of him.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I personally don't know many people who died. The only death that surprised me was my high school schoolmate who died a year or two after we graduated.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
Unfortunately that might become more frequent as ppl seem to be dying "suddenly" more often lately. 😕
LandOfOz · 61-69, M
@easterniowegin fake jabs
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@LandOfOz fake, in the sense that they don't work as they were portrayed. Unfortunately I think they work exactly as they were intended to.

An 8th grade friend died after he got off the bus and was walking across his lawn after school. I was in class with him that day. Heart attack.
My cousin in 2005. He’d split up with his wife and was devastated, I had some time off and invited him to come up for a visit. He sounded happy about it, was planning to drive up and spend the week. The next day he committed suicide. My aunt found him. I never knew what happened. He had sounded so hopeful. 😞
WhatLifeIsFor · 41-45, M
yeh. my friend.. i met with him at evening .. andin morning i got first newsof his death. it is almost 17 years ago
Yep, a few good friends.

One passed from a sudden stroke, and the other a car roll over.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
This is a fun party! Oh I hear the phone ringing I have to leave.
Neoerectus · M
@GeniUs Reminds me of an old tv series where Bill Mumy was the single Dad (Sunshine).

He and a friend walk into the living room and his young daughter announces, "We are ALL going to DIE!" ...

She had just discovered mortality..
Briggett · T
The older you get the more frequently it happens.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M

Repete · 61-69, M
