Have you ever blocked someone you’ve never interacted with ?

I’ve never been one to use the block option that often, but I’ve done it twice lately. They were complete strangers to me but I had been witnessed their behavior before on random posts and what they were spewing was pure idiocy and hate over and over again. The negativity with the words they were choosing was completely uncalled for. It wasn’t just them having a bad day…it was them actually wanting to inflict the darkness within them onto others like it was their mission to do so, so I bypassed my usual mute route and hit that block button. Still didn’t like doing it but there’s already enough darkness out there without willingly subjecting myself to immense levels of it here.

Yeah. Pedos, trolls, rape/incest fetishists, and those with an aggressive abusive attitude.

That or mute. Who cares, nobody says you have to see everyone here. People act like it's such a big deal.

I've never blocked anyone here but I've thought about blocking some of the trolls. They just irritate me. 🤷‍♀️

I have blocked for various reasons
sometimes when I answer a certain member's q's too much/taking a break,
when I see how they treat others,
for a stupid avi,
for being an @,
for being condescending,
...list is long

Many times. I describe myself as a "stealth blocker". 😈 I silently read and block when I realize that I'm not going to get along with someone, no matter how I try. If it's hopeless, no sense in not acknowledging that.

Yes. I can sometimes read that person interacting with my friends, and I don't want any of it.

No, but I’ve been blocked by people I haven’t interacted with. Guess I’m just a bit much for at some people, even when I’m keeping to myself as I mostly am these days. 🤷‍♀️

But then most of the people who block me are those I don’t even like anyway, so it all works out. 😇

The one time I've blocked someone, it was someone I'd never interacted with. I blocked 'him' because of the nature of the personal message sent. I've muted many people though, for the same reason.

I've only blocked ppl I've interacted with? I'm very good at looking past ppl that don't go out of there way to bug me.

No but when I first came on here a girl was putting stuff on of her singing and was lovely ,then she blocked me .some people must get a kick from doing that (your going to block me i bet )
