Magpie superstitions

Today i parked at my sons preschool i was on the phone with a friend talking about my struggles with my ex husband. Today the payment was due for my sons preschool i opened my center console to grab the money to pay the preschool.
I counted it to make sure it was all there then i closed my center console not even two seconds later a magpie bird hit my rear window and died. My rear window is not big and it was very dirty i dont see a reason the bird didn’t see the window. What does this mean?
