"Heaven forfend" is a phrase equivalent to "God forbid", meaning it would be a tragedy were the event to come to pass. For example, one might say, "Heaven forfend my car should overheat in this weather," or "Heaven forfend that SimilarWorlds user might choose to upload pictures of their revolting body."
