Somebody just sent me a text stating they put me down for a job reference...

BUT...their number isn't saved in my phone. The way they are speaking, it sounds like I actually know them but I don't want to say " who is this"?

It turned out to not be a scam. Just someone that I don't talk to and vice versa, who wants to use me for a reference. 🤷🏾‍♀️
