The bigots of Reddit have come for my main account now.
So I started using my main account on Reddit the way I was using u/Lord_Shadowfire, even though u/DarkMagickan makes me a little sad every time I read it. It doesn't feel quite the same, and I really can't explain why, except that 2008 me came up with the name, and I really don't like him for various reasons.
Anyway, I started posting more pro LGBT stuff in r/rosesarered, because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. (Actually, it's because I'm stubborn and a little rebel, but I never seem to learn.) I posted three silly memes in a row:
I thought I was playing it cool in my responses to their responses, ignoring the blatant homophobic bait and reporting it instead. Then I wake up today to find I'm banned for 2 days on my main account.
First thing the second I'm not banned, I'm taking it up with the CEO himself.

Reddit seems like a toxic website, and one you run into issues with often. Maybe you would benefit from finding a healthier online community elsewhere?
@Ananke Everybody keeps saying how Reddit is this lefty paradise where anyone criticizing the LGBTQ+ or praising Donald Trump gets instantly canceled. I guess I just bought into the hype.
