You know, Reddit is worse than SW when it comes to downvoting. Believe me.

I've observed users have more than [b]-300[/b] downvotes just for a simple opinion. Not even joking.

Hell ya, just try and have a discussion that doesn't promote the mainstream narrative.

"We're not a bunch of NPCs moving in lock step..." they say while simultaneously downvoting, shaming and ignoring anything that doesn't celebrate the left wing narrative.

I agree. All the mainstream social media platforms, including Reddit, have grown increasingly negative… it’s almost dystopian, the harsh judgement lacking any sort of empathy or compassion. SW does seem to be a lot more supportive in general. Maybe due to the smaller size of the community? Unless being a newbie I just haven’t seen the dark side yet.

Reddit requires you to follow the rules and not piss people off if you want to keep using it.

II used to like to simply look through subreddits ..never really commented...I just couldn't get into the site in any real capacity.

It is absolutely a place of serious negativity and when you get downvoted like that for really lame crap...then you run the risk of losing your account automatically.
