What's your experience as a millennial?
I saw a post about the tropes of millennials and thought it'd be interesting to share.
After I left school university prices rose by thousands so I decided I'd just work. I worked full time dealing with anxiety and depression due to childhood trauma and present isolation.
I decided years later to go to university and then covid happened. Had to learn online (not great). Worked 50-60 hour weeks as well, then the economy tanked, inflation and energy costs skyrocketed.
I decided to better my life and move in with family due to the cost of living. On a good path now but it's been a bit rough.
Most of my friends or people I know and both my neighbors kids the same age as me are either living with family to work and study or working full time but not moving forward really.
I don't see people really, just work on myself and my future.
How's the economy affected you?
How are you feeling?
