Oh yes, that happened to me too a few times. In short, they like to have the last word.

Because most people who block you are Trump supporters who are not too bright at the best of times

better than blocking you then posting a comment

It is certainly odd. I had someone like half my posts then block me.

Other people can see it. I hate the block button. Will only use it in rare and extreme circumstances.

They probably figure someone else will tell them. People usually make blocking a big deal on here for some reason

Yeah, that's something I also fail to understand. Either wait for me to read it for half an hour or so, and then block or do not type anything, and block or don't send me the notification that you have replied. You have three options.
