Weekly check in!

It has been a good week. Two grandkids were with us early in the week, and I took our 13 yr old grandson fishing. That was great, as was playing golf yesterday with my golfing buddy. I have a wedding tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to the time to rest after the ceremony.

It was a good week. A quiet week, in between traveling/vacation. My boyfriend and I spent some time at the beach, went on some local hikes, and mostly just chilled. The weather's been cooler than usual for summer, but still nice, which makes going outside more pleasant, so I'm not complaining. I'm looking forward to getting on the road next week. We're going up to the mountains (Sierra Nevada), which should be about perfect this time of year.

Luckily classes don't start until September, so I still have some time to enjoy the break.

The week was excellent; ended a camping trip where I enjoyed being at nature. Hiking trails or just being in the woods was the favorite part. Spending the weekend preparing for a contractor to remodel a bathroom. Looking forward to the completion.

The last several weeks and the next several are bound to be the same. I’m just running through a gauntlet of tests working up to open heart surgery and my bionic heart valve. In between, lots of sleep, hanging out with my dogs, catching up on old movies, reading, and watching baseball.

I was working from home and haven't been out of the house. The best part is always Friday afternoon. No plans for the weekend.

My week was good. We signed the contract on Monday to have our roof replaced. I went out of town to a high dollar guitar store and browsed. I had a very enjoyable time. I am looking forward to having lunch with a friend today. Weekend plans is a quick fix on my truck when the part comes in.
