Why are Americans sad for tiktok?

Some people rely on it to make easy money.
Someone said they were making 1.5k a month of TikTok alone.
It's not livable wage but try adding Facebook, Twitter YouTube to the mix and you will get yourself a decent income.

Everyone has their reasons. The problem I see in this is that it takes away people's freedom in a way. It's basically the same thing like when Russia bans Facebook, Youtube etc. Free countries with freedom of speech don't tend to block foreign social media sites and apps. USA simply shows where it decided to stand globally.

Loss of income, loss of entertainment, loss of an outlet for showcasing one's talents, and all of you are saying "good riddance", did TicToc hurt you in any way? Nobody forces anyone to watch it.

I didn’t use it but several people used it for various reasons including marketing.
