If there are people you feel who dont like you here...

And avoid your replies to their posts and your posts but its obvious they are responding to others, Its ok to just to 'mute' and see less of these people or just block them.

We cant be liked by everyone here.

People will just 'dislike' us here for reasons that seem illogical and unfair.

But we should move on and just be around the people that do appreciate us here 👍

No point eating time feeling miserable, losing sleep and banging your head against a brick wall.

Don't worry about this stuff man. Don't entertain unhappy people. Just live your life and be who you are. Bless you. Happy New Year. 🎊🕛🎊🕛🎊

im just worried they might have an interesting conversation with someone not muted and I'll only see half of it if I do that

where do i stand on blocking people though? well it's okay. a bit harsh to say you never wanna speak to that person ever again but we have predators on this site and so blocking there, yes, awesome. i just think its a bit silly when people get petty or overreact massively. its just a bit cruel to block for those kind of reasons.
JediKnight81 · 41-45, M
@Matt85 its more aimed at peop!e who are sensitive and could affect their mental health and wellbeing. It happens sadly. In an ideal world, it would be silly , but in this world, ee have to be practical and protect ourselves even if its not practical

Not my circus not my monkeys. Lol!

Sometimes I don't respond to posts not because I dislike someone but because I have nothing to say or I don't care for the content, they are show off's, artificially nice etc.. or if too dramatic or toxic positivity.
JediKnight81 · 41-45, M
@Magenta toxic positivity? Never heard of that! Please elaborate 😁

@JediKnight81

"Toxic positivity is the belief that people should maintain a positive mindset no matter how dire or difficult a situation is. While there are benefits to being optimistic and engaging in positive thinking, toxic positivity rejects all difficult emotions in favor of a cheerful and often falsely positive façade."

To me, it devalues and dismisses authentic human emotion and experience. And it's unhealthy, imo.

@Magenta aha i get you! Yeah, i cans see how this could be grating and annoying. I was guilty of it too but i try and drive in neutral here these days 🙏👍

@JediKnight81 🤔you are right not everyone likes everybody for either personal or petty reasons but long as they do not cross that red line with you then you can tolerate this
JediKnight81 · 41-45, M
@smiler2012 i can and i cant tolerate it if you get what i mean? If i do something to upset them its fine if not, then they need to get over themselves as its a mentality of 'you are below me, dont kook at me or speak to me'. That attitude is ego driven and it stinks frankly.
Passive aggressives give me a boner 🤓

I reply even to people I don't like. I only ignore replies that are nonsense, inappropriate or I don't understand what they wanted to say.

If someone ignores my replies to their posts, I mute them to not be tempted to write on their stuff again.

That’s just how life is.
You are overthinking this site . Relax and don't take it too seriously. You will enjoy it alot more that way .
Fa8393 · 41-45, M
Why even bother speaking to the people that hate you .
