India banned TikTok on June 29, 2020 due to privacy of people and national security issues. But an internal tool reviewed by Forbes showed that ByteDance and TikTok employees can still mine some of their most sensitive data. One employee called it “NSA-To-Go.”

TikTok is very safe as long as you’re not a creator or go live.
