Telegram Website Scam....

Oh yeah...
When a someone you're chatting with asks you to go to another app to chat...BEWARE !
They are going to try and scam you of information like your phone number or last name or even a ctefit card number..
Just BLOCK THEM fast

Never give out any personal contact information to someone on here until you’ve known them for at least a year

On my main app which is a language practice one, I do not even open messages from those places.

Sometimes they whine about being discriminated against on the app but it is like this - their nations are the worst ones for scammers.

Of course some of them want to claim to be American even though their English sucks. 😄
Then they often are like, "Will you marry me?" Like WTF?

Wickr was shut down at the end of the year if I read correctly never tried Telegram seems like its not good!

Never used telegram or Wickr or signal or anom.

Telegram, wherever it is based, is not even moderated, and refuses to be.

Telegram seems popular for that. Some scammers targeted my wife through that (and she's not a SWeep)
