Its very costly and not much available out here in India. Been a dedicated weed man for decades and a Heroin junky off and on again spanning two decades. Off everything today. Only a few times did I take cocaine - more like a fashion than passion, just to slake my curiosity and confirming our various fantasies about it. And of course to sing the Eric Clapton song with a knowing smile.
🤔................Back in the early 80's when coke was everywhere, the first job I got out of collage was a small company with about 25 employees. Half of the employees were doing coke everyday at work...........My boss would come up to me and ask me if I needed a bump and then give the bottle of coke to take to the bathroom and take a hit or do a line of coke..............Fortunately I never became a addict............I've seen coke destroy lives..........
No, i am in the haven't group. But like this thread is trending a lot of my former office workers tried or did it. Ones from past jobs. I think that @ChiefJustWalks points out it has a lot prevalence in the USA at least.
@Dshhh Oops, sorry, I meant illegal drugs. 🤭 No, I do love coffee of all kinds, epecially dark roast and espresso. I also drink beer, wine and an occasional shot of whisky.
@SW-User I wish I could live without coffee. But I don’t think I would like it
SW-User
@Dshhh I drink a lot less than I used to. The ex and I frequently had dinner at a couple of restaurants that had the best coffee I ever tasted. Consequently, the coffee flowed all evening long...
These days, I brew organic dark roast in the a.m. and have about a cup and half. I'm satisfied with that for the rest of the day.
Not cocaine. Few times visiting places of high altitude (at Bolivia and Peru) I chewed the traditional "bolo" of leaves of coca. But I never felt temted by drugs and I drink with enough moderation to remain able to drive.
Where do you live? In the UK, you can’t even breathe in a beer… Canada is about the same. Not sure what is the appropriate amount of alcohol for driving: none perhaps? @ElRengo
@Noworries72 Argentina. And controls are severe ones. I´m more worried about the effects than on the controls, anyhow. But (at least) two hours after one glass of artisanal amber beer use to be enough. And no alcohol if needed, of course.
@GlitterEater No, I mean the depression that hits after the coke wears off, caused by the depletion of dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins. It's why taking more coke after you start coming down doesn't work as well as when you first take it. I didn't find that to be enjoyable, so I don't start the cycle in the first place. It's like people who don't drink because alcohol makes them violently ill.
No, not my idea of fun. I have friends that will take it, recreationally....fine for them. Not for me.
I have another friend that had took it only once - 'cos, she says, she was very drunk - and she had no idea what happened next. She woke up with sore legs and sore ribs.
Apparently she was jumping on tables, dancing and then jumping at people!
No and I'm not going to unless I am in a shitty life where nothing matters and I just wanna die in that high where everything feels at peace but I probably won't get there because I am too aware of the side effects.
