In a relationship, to what extent you don't react to avoid conflict?

It depends on the topic. Some things needs my reaction and a discussion. But I try to choose my battles.

Depends on the situation. If i over here someone talking shit about me or starting rumors, i dont want them to know i know so i can get more details over time then drop the hammer when everyone has their back turned. If i feel somone has a problem with me i want to bluntly solve the problem emediatly so its gone.
