@SW-User I think it goes beyond that to a bullying culture we've fostered in society. The point is that the rules have changed to the point views can't be civilly discussed

SW-User

@SW-User funny because they teach children in school not to bully. I'm not disagreeing with you or anything though. It just seems kind of funny how it works out.

SW-User

@SW-User My biggest regret is that with an entrenched conservative government in Australia they've outsourced most public service advice to the 'big 4' consultancy firms. As well as costing a fortune, I don't think they're representative of Australian society nor impartial

Oh yah. I'm one.

Yeah I was on EP for a few years before it shut down. I miss that place and some of my friends from there.

Ynotjenn · F

I was on EP 🙋🏻‍♀️

Different site but I get what you’re saying

Fertilization · 36-40, F

Yes
Almost all of us over here once belonged to EP.

BackyardShaman · 61-69, M

I was there in 1923, one of the first members.

SW-User

I was on there

ShreksHouse · 56-60, M

Yes! I was on EP and had a large friend base there. It was quite satisfying. I moved away from it for awhile and then it was gone. I don’t even remember what my username was there

ron4u · 61-69, M

I do miss the old EP site, I have only recently found this site, not as easy to get around, maybe I will get used to it.

SW-User

@ron4u belated welcomes!

ron4u · 61-69, M

@SW-User Thank you

SW-User

Actually EP and SW aren’t directly related.
But SW did form soon after EP’s demise.

I was on EP

@SW-User Sometimes if the code used by a site is "open source" or something like that, other sites will use it instead of designing their own formats.

Doesn't happen real often I don't think but sometimes

SW-User

@SW-User true

SW-User

Yeah I come from experience project. It was a lot the same thing, I think most things ads even copied from there. Lots more kids doing illegal things over there though. Probably why it shut down
